Recommended: Effects of mass migration

With the mass influx of refugees into Europe and the failure of Europeans Nations to reach an agreement on how best to resettle the refugees, I agree with David Miliband’s view that a false choice for European Nations to pick is for them to say they are going to stop taking in refuges in order to protect themselves, as this actually means they are now ready to abandon their core values and keep the refugees wandering around their borders with the effect of many dying, as it highly unlikely these refugees would return back to their respective countries they are fleeing persecution from. I thus agree with David Miliband that a distinction between an economic migrant and a refugee should always be maintained and those found to pretend as refuges
