Final Essay: Reflections
While I reflect on Writing in the Liberal Arts and Sciences 1, I can honestly say that this course has provided me with new helpful insights on how to write papers. When writing papers, there are important factors that need to be considered, which entail the writing method to be used, research tools, and the format. Understanding your audience and your approach are very important viewpoints. Completing your thoughts through thorough analogy is a goal to be accomplished, so be sure to carefully develop your work, who knows who else may read it.
Now observing when I first started this course, my nerves were in the bottom of my belly, per say, because prior to this course, I had only been in school for 7 weeks. The outline of the course was so well organized where information and material was provided to help understand the structure for writing. Reading 40 Model Essays: A Portable Anthology written by Aaron and Repetto where we focused on composing a personal narrative essay, critical analysis essay and argument/persuasion essay, which has enhanced my capabilities to develop, organize and follow-thru with my thoughts. …show more content…

Reviewing and rereading it, although I did chronologically explain occurrences of the event, I should have properly formatted the paragraphs and cited information better. Overlooking your details can mislead the preferred audience to decipher your information differently or possibly even bore them. When writing a personal narrative essay, keep in mind that the expression of your five senses must be verbally illustrated. “[The] use [of] examples [is] to bring general and abstract statements down to earth so that listeners or readers will take an interest in them and understand them”
