The student demonstrates many strengths as a writer in both, his journal entry and benchmark writing sample. He also shows a few areas that need work. After reviewing his work, his stars and wishes have become clear, stars being strengths and wishes being areas that need work.
He has a strong ability to write in chronological order and sequence his writing to create a natural flow. This shows his star in organization. He clearly expresses ideas that are clear and directly related to his topics. This shows his stars in ideas and content.
