What many people do not know and one of the biggest misconceptions is that preschool is not just a place for play like many daycares; preschool is a place for a child to learn, develop, and be guided to a more successful path for their prospective careers. A preschool is simply a stepping stone in the path of a child’s education. It is very important as it helps a child grow tremendously at such an early age. This is not to say though, that children don’t play and socialize often at preschool. Children are spending a lot of their time playing during the school day.

A child cannot be expected to spend the entire day sitting quietly and focused on a lesson. They need to have plenty of time allowed so that they can play and move around. “In preschool, children learn about the world through play.
