Two things that I like about this candidate is He don’t like that there are a lot of people in portrety he wants to make it all better, and he doesn't like that our calls, emails, texts, etc…. goes to the NSA Surveillance system. He don’t like that people are looking at everything that we do, have. He says we are a free country and he wants to shut down the NSA. The only thing that could hurt him from getting votes from the people is Saying “black lives matter” He really should have said “All lives matter” he only looked towards one color of the human people instead of all of them. Something that Bernie Sanders would change if he got elected is he would have many more jobs added for people so they are not not jobless. Other Candidates most likely view this candidate as another person running because they want to win. Some voters may like him and others may not like
In this essay, I will explain why Texas should retain the partisan election of judges. Texas is one of the few states that elect their judges using a Partisan voting method. Partisan elections can be unfair and can misinform the voter. A high legal position such as a judge should never be chosen in such a manner. Partisan elections often cost more than nonpartisan elections in campaigning. Partisan elections are also more likely to lead to straight ticket voting or mindless voting. Partisan elections also lead to more campaign contributions and can increase the power of constituencies. Lastly partisan elections can cause an imbalance in equal represent the population. Therefore, Partisanship voting does not belong in the courts of Texas and
He said one of his great presidential speeches on the streets of: downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Bernie Sander refers to the problem in the United States. Sanders focus on getting his point across to the American people. He wants to help all of the Americans. On his site, he informs what his ideas are if he is voted to become the next president of the United States. He recognizes that health care, a place to stay, having food, and education are all human rights. Bernie sanders just really want everyone to get ahead in life. In his speech, he says, “I want more people in the country going to college than going to jail.” He wants for his people to get a good education and be become successful just like him. He wants to provide equal opportunity, better life styles, and fortify equality. Furthermore, in his speech he shows that he will not give up; he is a fighter for the people and a man of peace.
Energy and environmental issues are also another topic that both parties disagree on. Democrats support drilling for fossil fuels which is better for the environment. Republicans believe in expanded drilling which creates more energy at a cheaper cost. Democrats are advocates for using tax money to research solutions for alternative energy and Republicans just want to let the industry itself figure out the most practical solutions
I noticed that when one political party covers almost the entirely of the map, their party will continue winning the election for several years. Like how the election of 1932, the democratic party had about 88% of the electors votes and about 60% of the popular votes. The democratic party continued to win the next four elections.
In the United States we are divided by the left and right side on the political spectrum; even further divided into political parties such as Republicans, on the right, and Democrats, on the left side. These two political parties show philosophical differences through their viewpoints on major topics such as the economy, separation of church and state, abortion, and gun control.
In the United States there are only two main political parties to choose from. The two main parties are the Democrats and the Republicans. There are also many other political parties to choose from which are called third parties. Third parties may include political parties such as the Socialist Equality Party and the Peace and Equality party. People can choose to be a part of any party they want but most go with the common two main parties the Democrats and Republicans. Democrats and Republicans have many similarities and differences. These mainly occur in international, social, economic, and domestic issues.
The United States of America has two political parties, Democrats and Republicans. The parties were created back in the 1800s and have become their own.The parties are both part of the American government, but they do not believe the same way. The differences in the parties are their beliefs in social issues. The disagreement between the two have been around since they were created. Although the political parties do not agree on social issues, they both want what is best for citizens in the United States. Without the two parties, America would not not have a way to tell their opinions. Democrats and Republicans have many similarities and differences.
The United States of America has a plethora of political parties, however most of politics is dominated by two, the Democrats and the Republicans. However, there are also many other parties available that have their own issues and opinions on what should happen. The Constitution Party has its own solutions for common debatable topics such as gun control, the Affordable Care Act, and immigration policies. On the other hand, there are also political parties such as Libertarian Party that have ideas on how to save the economy and reform social security. Third party political organizations are an important part of the United States government.
When it comes to the issues dealt with by all Americans, you generally have few choices with which to align yourself. You can either decide to stand on the right, taking a conservative viewpoint: believing in personal responsibility, limited government, free market, etc. with notable parties such as the Republican Party and the Peace and Freedom Party. Alternatively, you can stand on the left, taking the more liberal route: holding ideals such as government action and equal opportunity. Those parties include the Democratic Party and the Green Party. However, it is not a black and white cutoff between conservative and liberal, rather a circular spectrum going to the far left, the far right, and meeting back up. Therefore, there are many places one can stand on any given issue.
Bernie Sanders quotes, “America must defend freedom at home and abroad, but we must seek diplomatic solutions before resorting to military action. While force must always be an option, war must be a last resort, not the first option”. He continues on to say that the United States should not be the policeman of the world and that the only way to stop ISIS is to join an international coalition led by countries are able to protect themselves. Unlike Marco Rubio, Bernie Sanders believes that America should not led the fight against ISIS and not make the fight our own. He states that we must take out the terrorists’ funding networks, disrupt their online radicalization, and support religious freedom this is how we will combat the terrorist. Bernie wants to make sure that America doesn’t fall into a policy of unilateral military action and move toward a policy of emphasizing diplomacy and making sure that the decision to go to war is a last resort. Also wants to make sure that any military action we take has clear goals and we provide support to our allies whenever it is
Ralph Nader has accomplished many tasks other than being 6’3” and making it to the age 83 and still going. He was and still is an environmental activist, consumer advocate, and a politician. He also is an anti-war activist. He also ran for president many times. But, I would like to focus on Nader’s work on being a consumer advocate.
Bernie Sanders is the candidate in which I was a delegate for in Mountlandia. Sanders is currently serving his second term as a senator from the state of Vermont. Prior to becoming a United States Senator, Bernie Sanders was the Mayor of the largest city in Vermont, Burlington. Sanders also served in the United States House of Representative. He considers himself a democratic socialist. A democratic socialist is “ a person who believes that both the economy and society should be run democratically-to meet public needs, not to make profits for a few.” On April 30, 2015, Senator Sanders announced his candidacy for the United States Presidential term of 2017-2021. The general theme of the Sanders campaign is a Future we can believe in and the
What does democrat believe in? In general, republicans tend to take a more conservative stand
Bernie believes in the same things that I do. And has the same morals as I do as well. His values are what I would like our country’s values to be. He believes that men and women are equal. And that every person regardless of gender, race, sex, disability, disorder, religion, age or social status is equal and that everyone matters. He is pro-choice which is a very important thing to me. He is supportive of the LGBT+ community and its members, and has fully been supportive of it this entire time. Unlike his fellow candidates. Bernie recognizes that police brutality is a very real thing and has spoken up about the matter. He has also very clearly supported #blacklivesmatter and has spoken about the P.O.C that have been killed in police brutality and discrimination acts. He has spoken many times about how he feels towards the people and corporations in wall street and I agree with the statements that he has made. I believe that he accurately depicts the working class American. And I enjoy seeing the amount of effort he puts into every single thing that he does. He puts effort into every supporter that he meets and has been known to be a kind man. His views support a “livable wage” which is a minimum wage that the average household can actually survive on and afford the things that are necessities that many families cannot currently. The things he plans to do for our country and its people could potentially help everyone who is struggling to get back on their feet and live their lives once more and that is the kind of country I would love to live in and be an active citizen in. Another key thing about Bernie that I personally appreciate is that he does not let his religion affect his views nor what he plans to do. He does not use “god” as an excuse to hate homosexuals or shame people for abortions. One fact that I have to throw in
In America we have two main political parties the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, each with different point of views. Democrats are labeled as liberals and the Republicans are considered conservatives. Neither of the two parties are made up of people who totally agree with everything the party stands for. Both parties disagree on three major issues abortion, same-sex marriage and universal health care. I found that my beliefs, ideas and views tend to lean more towards the Democratic side, and will be focusing on supporting the democrat party on these three main issues in association to civil rights.
