Asking Permission Like asking for help, asking permission is also an important skill children have to develop. In order to parent with purpose, teaching children the proper ways to ask for permission can lead to success or failure. The mindset that the world owes us something (“gimmie”) can be a hindering block in getting the results that lead to advancement. When asking for permission, your child should know to: 1.
