When presented with the question of what I think I will remember the most from my middle school experience, the first thing I think of is the Catholic education. At Carondelet, there was a very large emphasis put on learning as much as we could about being Catholic. I enjoyed that very much, as I am very interested in learning about my faith. Church is a large section of my school experience, and it would be strange to not continue that in high school. Carondelet instilled the idea of giving back to the community through volunteer work. At Carondelet, we work together as a community to help those in need. It feels good to help others and I would enjoy going to a school that values service to the community. I also enjoy trying new things.
Wanting to attend Archbishop Mitty High School had never been a question of mine. I aim to go far in life and I am confident that AMHS is the school that will lead me down that path. By shadowing and attending the open house, I noticed that AMHS is like a second home to its members. The positive vibe radiating through its students offers me something to look forward to and another reason to wake up in the morning and go to school. Although I wasn’t a student, I was treated as if I belonged. I enjoyed how I didn’t have to be noteworthy to be accepted. Unlike typical high school movies, I could be myself without worrying about judgmental stares. I am certain many unforgettable memories will be made.
Overall, I am glad that I had the opportunities growing up to attend different types of schools. They shaped me into the person that I am today and helped to make me successful, along with the fact that I am very competitive, take pride in what I do and take the time to learn how to work with others. Throughout my high school tenure at Roncalli High, I’ve been graced with some of the best teachers around. They have taught me to have pride, passion, and courage in everything that I pursue. Roncalli is a school where excellence is our average and the students are pushed to go farther than they think they can. Throughout my life, I had always received recognition for being very agile and quick. My first day of Middle School consisted of the track and field coach attempting to persuade me to join the school’s athletics program. I had previously never been apart of an athletics team, and was willing to take advantage of the opportunity. Throughout my three years of middle school, I was the one consistent member of the school’s track and field team and had an overall successful personal record. Coaches from opposing school would praise me leaving me feeling very confident about myself.
Everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives, the feeling of being free from high school finally sinking into their minds. Forgetting about all of their problems for the night, and letting loose. My mom always says that I’ll regret this when I grow up; not living the full high school experience. I grew up in a christian family and I'm the middle of five siblings. I was homeschooled up till 3rd grade. In 4th grade a transfer to public school. I stayed in public school until halfway through my 7th grade year when I decided I wanted to be homeschooled until high school. I choose to come to Wheaton Academy because I wanted to experiencing something new. My high school years have been definitely worth the hard work and have been very rewarding. I love the level of freedom and trust the students at WA are given. Middle school was a amazing experience, for me anyway. I, myself have changed tremendously from the beginning of 6th grade to the end of 8th grade. Not just in appearance either, on the inside as well.
My experience at Tri-Central Elementary was one to remember. I learned a lot through doing it and I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience something like this. The first thing I learned was how open children are to new people. I work in a daycare and the children treat me like their sister but I thought it was because I have been there for so long. That is not the case though; the students at Tri-Central were so welcoming and asked me tons of questions about myself. I received hugs and they held my hand while walking to the bathroom. I was sad to leave. It is heartwarming to know that children are so innocent and sweet and they care so much. I also learned that there are a lot of children who have IEP’s (Individualized Education Program).
My names Chase Tate i'm 14 years old, 6 feet 3 inches and go to grey hawk middle school. I get in trouble a lot at school Teachers want to send me to an alternative school were the worst of them all go to There was kids all ages there up to 18.I Don't think I should go to this school but my parents agree with them so I have to go.My mom and dad drive me it's was a long drive it took 6 hours. We finally made it and I don't want to get out of the car. The place was terrifying it had gated fences like a prison.
It's been great attending County Christian School. Where else do students walk into school at 7:55 and receive a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie? Then, after third period, Mr. Obrastoff combs our hair and sings to us. It really has been a delightful place to go to school.
My freshman year at Cleveland Central Catholic was the best year of highschool for me it's where i met most of my friends and where i learned advanced classes i had a lot of fun although i was one of hundreds of new kids going to Cleveland Central Catholic High School i was happy and nervous to go there i didn’t know what would people think of me or if i would make any friends. All of the freshman had an orientation which is like a day with freshman only to get to know all around the school like our classes where our gym was located the lunch and gym was separated from the school that was something new because i never seen anything like it the school was so big i was nervous for my actual first day.
From both of these schools, I have learned a lot about my personal qualities, such as my strengths and weaknesses, and my work habits and attitudes. One of the first things that I had to learn at Alameda High school, which consisted of my freshman and sophomore years, was responsibility. I realized that after middle school, my teachers only had so much accountability for my grades and even actions. Whether or not I turned in my homework or received a good grade in the overall class all depended upon me. My teachers were no longer held responsible
My school experience has helped define me as a person and has helped guide me through life. I attended a public school in Perry, Iowa. There was a small public school in my town, but it only taught through eighth grade, so everyone attended the same high school. During high school I participated in dance team, football and basketball cheerleading, marching band, color guard, concert band, jazz band, pep band, choir, select choir, drama, Resistance Skills Leaders, National Honor Society, GSA, Skills, Big Buddy, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and speech.
