College. What a great step in your life, to accomplish the fact that you are eligible to go to college. I have had my mind on college since the first day my middle school teachers kept saying high school was a big deal and if you didn't apply your mind to it, you would be unsuccessful. Since then, my brain was set to become a successful young man. Even through all the challenges I have encountered, I pushed myself up and believed in myself.

Let's talk about goals. Growing up, I have had many goals I have wanted to pursue in which will better myself. The most realistic achievement was to be an amazing student which is a student who does the right thing. I wanted to follow the steps of my sister. My 18 year old sister, Gabriela, has been a straight A student her whole time in high school, she had some B's but for the most part, she had all A's. The goal was to become another her. This came with many challenges and adversity. One of the biggest problems for me is facing distractions. As I got older, I got too distracted with things that have nothing to do with what I was doing at any given moment. Adversity is when you have difficulties or misfortune. You might be asking, "How did you overcome adversity?" Let me tell you how. To start off, in your life, you will always have different obstacles to go through but if you take on the challenge, things will soon turn out in your favor. The way I overcame my adversity was by discovering my priorities in which I can still focus on myself, my family, and my school work. The way I went about that was by sitting in the front of the classroom in every single class, stopped using social medias so frequently, and stopped video games. This was tough, but this had also allowed me to accomplish my goals of going to college and becoming like my sister. My grades rose up, and I got better
