(flower cards) and was owned by Fusajiro Yamauchi in Kyoto, Japan. He then started making

the first western-style playing cards in 1902 in Japan. They were supposed to be mainly for

export, but they became very popular in Japan and most of the world. This was when it was

called Yamauchi Nintendo & Co. Flash forward to 1950, when Hiroshi Yamauchi became

president of Yamauchi Nintendo & Co. . One year later the name was changed to Nintendo

Playing Card Co., Ltd. . In 1959, they started making playing cards with Walt Disney characters,

Boy color was released in 1998. The next in line was the Gamecube in 2001. It wasn’t the best

Nintendo console, but it had some good games and better graphics than the N64. In 2003, the

Game boy advanced sp came out. I have this console and love it because it was the best Game

boy in every way. It had a backlight, better graphics, a rechargeable battery (Older Game boys

ran on AA batteries and didn’t last very long) and great games. Later on in 2005 and 2006 the

DS and DS lite were released and contained a barrage of new features like a touch screen, wifi

compatibility , and a power saving mode. At the end of 2006, the Wii was released around the

world being Nintendo's latest console with games like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Legend of

Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, etc. . The successor to the DS, the DSi came
