Video games are bad. Because when somebody plays and gets off it makes them in a bad mood. But video games are good to kill time. And video games are getting more better and they are getting better graphics. And it looks better like if you were there. One of my favorite video games is Fortnite. Because it looks cool and you get to do a lot of stuff. Fortnite is one of the biggest games in the USA. A lot of people play Fortnite because it fun and you get to built things. Playing video games is bad and good. Because shooting games are bad. But like building games are not bad. If you gonna get a video game play good video games. But when you buy a video game that is shooting people the store ask you for your ID card. Fortnite is so big that you …show more content…
Because inside your body is just sitting down. And outside you could run and do a lot of other things. I play Fortnite but I’m a noob. Noob means that you suck at it you dont know whats going on. And Fortnite game changes each month. So we get many things in the game. And like Black Ops 2 was a shooting game. It was the #1 game back then. But Fortnite came out and took over all the games. I think the old game back then were better because they look nice and there are a lot of fun. Old games were fun because the way they made the old games like GameCube was a system that you could play two players and it comes with many games you could play. And the old system controllers were more nice and they feel better. The new games have many thing on the controllers. The old ones have a little of stuff on the controllers. I think the main thing that sucks about the new games is that you need to pay to play. And the old games you didn’t have to pay. Ps3 you could play. Now for ps4 you have to pay to play. And it sucks more because you get only like a couple months to play. Then you have to pay again when your month is done. Playing video games could make you feel mad because you rage. Games could make you feel happy if you do something you
During the 1990’s the video games were constantly changing.this decade saw tons of innovations in the gaming industry. The creation of 32-bit games and 3D games dominated the virtual world: Contra, Battletoads, Mortal Kombat, etc. Video game genres developed and branched out, creating some of the popular genres in video games today, such Role-playing games(RPGs),
... some of the biggest box-office hits from comic book heroes of Marvel to mythical like the Hobbit or old stories of the Lone Ranger. Also the new ninja Ninjago was a huge hit and still is with kids of all ages. The technology has stormed from one spectrum to the next to bring old to new and invite all who want to play.
In pages 20-24 of Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World, I agree that there are many different video games. For me, I am a fan of single-player games with story modes because I can play by myself and go at a pace that suits me. However, I enjoy playing online multiplayer when I have friends I can play with because it is fun interacting with friends and doing stuff together. I play on a console or my computer, but I have played on my phone and a hand-held device. I have not played a board game or card game in a while, but I would play it if the opportunity presents itself. The video games genres I play are sports, action, and adventure. I agree with Jane McGonigal that video games share four defining traits,
Videogames are amazing they promote creativity, team-work and social interaction. Video games actually work to increase how good your eyesight is. One study done by scientist’s Daphne Bavelier and her team found that playing five to fifteen hours of action games (e.g., Call of Duty) a week increased how good the participants vision was in two ways "The first way is that they 're actually able to resolve small detail in the context of clutter… The other way that they are better is actually being able to resolve different levels of grey”. Sure games have violence in them but honestly what doesn’t, films and TV are chock full of it, heck even Tom and Jerry promote violence and animal abuse plus there is a reason that those big shiny red “18” stickers are put on games so that it is clearly shown that children aren 't supposed to be given access to these specific types of game. As for the “waste of time” nothing is really a waste of time if you gain something from it such as
There are many people who say that videogames and TV will rot your brain and cause brain damage. Plenty of research and articles are against children playing video games, but there are some that are in favor of video games, and that number is growing every day. Video games can have some medicinal uses from helping patients in physical therapy to improving ones vison. Many people do not see these uses and for every one for video games there are five who are against it, however as that number is slowly growing.
Many kids get angry at these games when they lose and can take it out on others. These games are promoting these kids to have more violent urges. Jill Adams, the author of “Effects of Violent Video Games”, states:
Fortnite is a very inspiring game and it can help you learn a lot about games. Fortnite can be a very inspirational game with all of the lessons. It teaches strategy, ex: the game teaches you how to jump and shoot and try to kill other people. The game also shows you how to run from people and snip people and learn about guns and different types of thing that you can use in the game. The game also teaches you team work because you can play duos or squads. In
Instead of the franchises popularity having a positive impact, overtime, it infected the gaming market along with it’s consumers and developers such as Microsoft Game Studios and EA. It has become an aggrandized cancer on the face of video games everywhere, destroying franchises a...
...ple, how addicting they can be, but overall they have more positives than negatives. Video games train people, control violence and anger, and improve brain functioning ability, which by far outweighs any negative arguments against video games.
Most of the physics in older games aren't close to being realistic for there were way too many equations the program would have to solve and it would slow it down. There are arguments that go on that unrealistic games are more fun, or realistic games are more fun. Video Games have been around for over thirty years now. A lot have changed in the way programs work. When they first came out Video Games weren't that powerful because the hardware couldn't support it.
There are many different types of games with different types of playstyles. Fortnite is a battle royale game with a faster paced game style. As Fortnite developed, the developers decided they wanted the matches to last around a half hour. The matches run short Comparing Fortnite to its counterpart, PUBG, the games run much faster. A game in PUBG lasts about an hour or more.
An article on Procon.org says, “A peer-reviewed study published in the Journal of Adolescent Health found that children, especially boys, play video games as a means of managing their emotions: "61.9% of boys played to 'help me relax,' 47.8% because 'it helps me forget my problems,' and 45.4% because 'it helps me get my anger out.". If anything, shooting games help people more than hurt people because they get to release their anger and problems on Fictional characters. PIxels on a screen instead of real people. Isn’t that better? Some might say that casual players that aren’t angry could become mad from the game either by hackers, “campers” or the difficulty. However, there are no studies from reliable sources that say those reasons have caused actual violence. There have been many fake or unreliable articles about this. Wouldn’t parents encourage their kids to play a shooter game if they got angry? According to them they shouldn't because they are violent, causing this anger that people have to be used on someone else.
Well, to answer that, you have to have a basic understanding of physics. Physics is the study of matter and energy, and how the two interact with each other. Things such as gravity, sound and light - all involve physics. As you might have noticed, gravity, sound and light are things we encounter quite frequently in our day to day routines. Game developers, in their goal to create a believable, realistic world for the gamer to immerse themselves in, know that in order to do so their game needs to incorporate the laws of physics. After all, their games wouldn't be very realistic if players kept floating away every time they tried to make their character jump or dodge around.
Plus, they play to try to release their stress, frustration, and pressure after having a hard time doing their homework or in class. Video game developers goal is to make fans happy when they play their games. Video games are meant to have a feeling of adventure, enjoyment, and excitement. It helps the player to play video games without harm. Video games also help players relax after all of their work at school, jobs, or cleaning in and outside of their home....
Video games have been argued about for decades. Some people have argued that video games are linked to violence. However, new research shows that video games can be used for therapeutic purposes, exercise, stress relievers, positive interactive learning, hand eye coordination, and different types of patient treatment for people all around the world.
