My Faith Proposal

My faith is actually the direct reason for my goals at PBA. I was on the edge of attending Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, praying that God would either give me direction and a passion for a major in college, or I was going to ministry school. About a week later, ready to go to BSSM, I started to get a reawakening for the love of communication and psychology that I’d recently forgotten- which I realize more and more relates directly to several of the areas in which I feel called to serve God. After praying and fasting about the direction towards PBA, I got a vision from God saying that wherever I want to go, the light is green and his favor will follow me. He also spoke to me that he does have a degree for me- not purely ministry.
I have always felt like I might want to be a counselor one day, but since I’m not clear about that, I’m going to major in something that will open many doors for that area in the future. I also have a heart for victims …show more content…

This past school year at Montgomery College I have learned to truly trust God with my grades. Leading a ministry while being a full-time college student can feel overwhelming and scary at times, but as I saw how great God’s favor was on me I let go of my stress and rested in Him more and more. I plan on doing the same thing at PBA. I believe that I did so well my first year of college purely because I worked hard and prayed before every test. I put my trust in God, and he came through every time- testimonies I now share to encourage other college students.
