Faith
Can everything in life be done through faith? “Faith is complete confidence or trust in a person or thing; or a belief not based on proof. It may also refer to a particular system of religious belief.” Faith is used everyday by many people. Us Christians use our faith in God all the time even when we aren't thinking about it. Pi used faith in life of pi, I use faith every day, and my fellow christians use their faith every day. Pi Patel used faith every day he was out surviving on his own and he made it. Pi had many different faiths. He had these because of the different religions he believed in while on his journey. Pi had to go through so much that he almost lost that. Pi’s faith was tested so much while he was out at sea that he almost lost his faith. Even though this did not happen Pi had faith that a boat would come and find him. I will use faith to trust in God to give me another day in my life to wake up and spread his word. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1) I trust in someone everyday that I won’t be able to see until the day I die. I use my faith in the little things such as cutting an apple hoping not to cut myself, to going on a plane and trusting god to keep me safe until I get to my destination. There are some days where I just feel like giving up and not trying like Pi did at some times, but with faith I know that I can believe in God to help me through tough times I may have in my life. Through the faith I have in Christ Jesus I know that I can depend on him for any situation he puts me in because I know that everything he is putting me through is for a reason. Having a faith with God is such a strong connection because I am trusting someone that I can not see.
