How are the Pakistan life of Iqbal compare to the capture of Nick Freewall in Elephant Run? How do their adventures of forced child labor and surviving world war 2 compare and contrast. Both of them compare and contrast in a lot of different ways to each other.
The tough life of Iqbal in the book Iqbal by Francesco D'Adamo and Nick Freestone in the book Elephant Run by Ronald smith are the main stories of the books and have difficult lives that are also different and similar. In the book Elephant run they are in the small country of Burma in the early 1930-40s in a somewhat dense forest. Along with that they have to learn their way around. For Nick he had a wealthy, much respected family. In their book there family where one of the first people on the plantation and get much respect from this. Nick also was a more valued target since he was the son of the plantation leader. Iqbal was known as a troublemaker and wasn't wealthy at all. This made people look at him much different then Nick and treat him different as well. Being treated much worse than Nick Iqbal would have had a harder time with people in contrast. This all lead to and added to their difficult lives and experiences. So the tough life of Iqbal in the book Iqbal , along with the life of Nick Freestone in the book Elephant Run are both very challenging lives that are both alike and similar to each others. From reading through these you can tell that they have difficult lives, also you are able to make out what is different about living through World War 2 and Child Labor of pakistan and what is a like with their experiences. This would be just the beginning of their lives and there is much more to find out in the books
