Background Interprofessional Practice (IPP) is a crucial part of health care delivery, and its evolution in Canada is centered on meeting the individual needs of patients- a quality, patient-centred care. The Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC, 2010) define IPP as ‘‘a collaborative practice that occurs when healthcare providers from different sector work collaboratively with one another, patients and their families with a common goal to attain improved health outcomes’.
