As a student, positive thinking has made things so much easier in dealing with the stresses in the student life. In his book, The integration of Faith and Learning, Robert Harris says, “Successful integration is a powerful way to strengthen your faith and bring you to a greater love of learning. Once you understand how knowledge and learning and faith really work, you begin to discern how the world really works” (Harris, 2004). Since I was a little girl I have always liked fashion and make up, and the older I got, was the more I came to appreciate professionals in the industry. Make up, not only being for Hollywood stars and models but it also provides confidence for people may have been struggling with self-esteem problems. Verses like, “Those who water will themselves also be watered” and, “Those who shut their ears to the poor, will not be heard themselves” has helped me understand how life is supposed to work. When we do good things, good things will come back. It is important not to get caught up into trying to do it just for the rewards, because it makes the good deeds seem selfish, but to do them out of the love and faith that we have in Jesus. That way we can show that our own relationship with God is one that is alive, well and growing by the way we treat those around
