When people are stressed the body responds by sending stress hormones throughout the body to become ready for emergency action known as the “fight or flight” response, a mechanism in the body that enables humans to mobilize a lot of energy rapidly in order to cope with threats and survival. Treatments for stress can vary depending on each person but initially must require change. There are many things to help prevent stress to make sure you keep your stress levels to a minimum. The most common techniques of a stress reliever are deep breathing. This enables the “relaxation response”, when the automatic nervous system functioning returns to its normal state.
