Short term goals are just goals that I want to complete, but aren't on my main list of activities to complete. I am really into taking pictures with my professional camera. This is a hobby that started a few years ago, but never started until last year or so. That is because I didn’t have a camera. I now have a very nice camera and I love it. Life has no meaning without goals. In order to succeed setting goal is very important. Without setting goals there would be nothing to look forward to, or even have anything to achieve. Goals are a vital aspect of our lives. It gives a sense of self-confidence. I believe without goals life would just be a plain and no excitement at all. Long-term and short-term goals are intertwined and work similarly to build a house from ground up. I vision myself become a radiologist within the next three to five years. This is my present long-term goal. To achieve my long term goal I have two short term goals, first to get good grades in prerequisites courses and second to complete my grad school program with "A" grade minimum, because graduating with good grades is the stepping stone for my long-term goal.

My experience with goal making has always been a rough affair. The goals were not a source of motivation or inspiration for me. Instead the goals were a one-time action and were never to be found again once written down. It is not that I did not want to succeed in my goals or get the satisfaction of completing my goals, it is simply that my goals did not fit my specific needs and were not easy to follow. It is only now that I realize my goals were far from specific and measurable, realistic and challenging, and within a timeframe. Within this framework for goals my goals can become more inspirational to me and become a part of my life rather than a passing event in my life.
Setting goals is the most important thing you can do in your life. Without goal's you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and trouble finding a career that will provide for you. Many people tend to set goals. They can set goals for their personal life, academics, or even for their professional lives. You can literally set a goal for pretty much anything you can imagine. I believe that people should set goals, they help you stay focused and want to do better for the future. Goals change all of the time though, because of a lot of different reasons, maybe you found that one thing just really is not what you want to do with your life, so you find something else to do. To me that is just how life is, my goals will most likely change as I am getting older and trying to find what I want to do with the rest of my life.
Goal setting is key in motivation; goals need to be clear, sharp, and realistic. To make these feel more achievable it is better to break these down into smaller medium-term goals and medium-term goals into short-term goals so that you have a clear connection between what one does every day and their long-term goals.

In setting a goal, you set up a grand goal and then you break it down into smaller goals. This helps you to further monitor your progress on a smaller scale and helps you stay motivated and focused because each time you achieve one of the smaller goals, it keeps you inspired to achieve the grand goal. Set goals that are definite with a well-known target to achieve, always giving yourself a specific time-stamped to achieve your goals. However, ensure that your goals and time lines set are realistic otherwise you will end frustrated chasing castles in the
Each person should have their own goal to make sure that they have reasons to live. Without goals we never aim what we want to do. “if you don’t have a goal in life, you are spending your life running around and not achieving anything for yourself”- Bill Copeland. This quote wants to tell us that in life you will always be on the same stage without having the desire to improve yourself in any manners. Having a goal will motivate you to strive whatever you want to achieve instead of wasting your time do unnecessary things. In this task, I have to explain two types of goals which are personal goals and professional goals. The goals are :
