There are a common behaviors recognized in an effective Leader in leadership theory that effect on the health care. Characteristics of a Successful Leader relative process differs from the function of leadership to another and depend on overlapping factors, but there are basic qualities of leadership. An effective leadership behavior can generate a working atmosphere that acceptably supports the team members so they can effectively perform in their duties. Transparency and leadership theories such as social identity theory are associated as they both sum up different management strategies that have been proposed to act as catapult in effective management and leadership in healthcare organizations. A good example where transparency as a leadership behavior is associated with different leadership theories is the initiative by Healthdirect (Australia) (McCormack, Dewing, & McCance, 2011). This initiative launched a transparent program aimed at training health care workers so as to ensure that besides theoretical models that have been suggested to help leaders, the concerned workers help in ensuring patients, members of community and stakeholders rate services offered by the registered healthcare centers. Relating this behavior with situational leadership theory, the theory and the behavior offers health worker with proper guidelines of evaluating group work in health care situations. That is, the theory believes that leaders should make certain decisions based on certain situation faced with. On the same note, transparent leaders, create health center services that are patient centered. Beginning with ways in which the leadership behaviors improve nursing and health care, transparency is a recipe for strategic decision making. When leaders become transparent in their operations, strategic decisions like the introduction of new services become efficient. Although Nembhard and Edmondson (2015) call for qualitative research that explores the possibility of having transparency affect decisions that are confidential to health care organizations, transparent health care organizations have their nursing and health care services improve as workers tend to follow leaders they believe in. Secondly, the aspect of teamwork and organizational change are strongly linked with leadership behaviors enumerated above. A leader with ethical decision making behaviors will promote change in health care organizations as they will ethically instigate the process of identification of managing risks. In turn, the behavior enhances teamwork and change as it explains what integral parts of the organization’s governance framework and management issues are.
