I have come to believe that being a talented writer is one those things that you are either born with or you're not. Similar to athletes who are born with the height and physique to be a basketball player compared to those who aren't fortunate enough and have to work harder to get the same results. I do realize that with enough practice anyone can be great at something. However I think its obvious that some are more blessed with the natural abilities to do certain things. I am unfortunately one of those who is not blessed enough to be born with the natural writing skills. I am the type that has to really work very hard to get minimal writing results. There were many times where I felt my essays or assignments were ready for submission, but the grades I received revealed that my papers indeed needed more revision and editing. Now that it's at the end of the course. I would have to say I enjoyed the challenge of this course. I do realize this course should not have been as challenging as it was, but due to my severe struggle when it comes to writing it was very difficult at times for me. However at the end of the day this course has made me a better writer and reader. I learned many valuable lessons and adopted many tools I can take with me into my latter years of my studies. I do now believe that because of this course I have a better ability of analyzing text for tests and papers, which will make me well-rounded and better student.
