“Globalization has changed us into a company that searches the world, not just to sell or to source, but to find intellectual capital - the world's best talents and greatest ideas” as cited by Jack Welch N.D.

To be successful in today’s global market, managers and leaders need to understand more than just technical skills. They should also understand globalization and organizational behavior. Globalization is the tendency of businesses, technologies, or philosophies to spread throughout the world, or the process of making this happen. Organizational behavior is a field of study that involves individuals groups, and their structure and how to apply the knowledge gained in order to make organizations work more effectively (Robbins,2014). Gaining an understanding of globalization and its effect on organizational behavior is crucial to interacting effectively in the modern global economy. These four biblical verses should be considered when contemplating globalization and its effect on organizational behavior: the parable of the talents, the commentary of James, the Mosaic decree of Leviticus, and the creation mandate of Genesis 1:27.

The parable of the talents, Matthew 25:13-30. In the parable of the talents a man is preparing to depart on a journey. Before he leaves he summons his servants, entrusting them each with a sum of gold and commands them to invest the gold for him while he is gone. When he returns, he rewards the servants who invested his resources wisely and rebukes the one who failed to do so. The global economy has enabled people to enjoy a buyer’s creating competitive prices worldwide, enabling consumers to obtain the best value. ...rces into a global economy, the commentary of James 1:19 when communicating with others, the Mosaic decree of Leviticus 19:34 which recognizes and values the differences of others, and the creation mandate of Genesis 1:27 reminds leaders of the importance of understanding how to treat others with respect. Organizations that are trying to adapt to meet the needs of their customers and personnel will successfully achieve their goals.
