Global warming is the continuing rise in global average temperature specifically the temperature of the atmosphere and oceans. There are some hypotheses that the temperature has risen since the late 1900s century due to the human activity, mainly by emissions of carbon dioxide increased the greenhouse effect.
The greenhouse effect is a natural process that traps some of the sun rays in the atmosphere to regulate the temperature of the earth. This happens when the rays enters in the atmosphere. There are some of the solar rays that was trapped by the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere naturally, and the rest goes to space.
When there is too many gas, more rays are trapped in the atmosphere, and; therefore, the earth warms and the temperature goes up. This is the phenomenon of global warming. Moreover, the global warming associated with climate change that may have one anthropogenic cause or probably not.
The main effect that causes global warming is the greenhouse effect as I said before, which is a phenomenon referred to absorption by certain atmospheric gases— mainly H2O, followed by CO2 and O3— part of the energy that the ground emits, as a consequence of having been heated by solar radiation.
The natural greenhouse effect that stabilizes the climate of the earth is not a question of inclusion in the debate on global warming. That is without this natural greenhouse effect temperatures would fall by about 30° Celsius, and with such change the oceans would freeze and life as we know it would be impossible to have because of the global warming.
The evidence of warming of the climate system manifests itself in observed increases in temperature on earth and into the ocean, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising...

...we get low the thermostat 2 degrees in the winter and up 2 degrees in the summer, we can save about 900 kilos of carbon dioxide a year.
Moreover, plant a tree. A single tree can absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime. In addition, we must turn off electronic devices that we are not using, like the TV, DVD, stereo and the PC. If we do that, we can save thousands of kilos of carbon dioxide a year.
In conclusion, global warming is affecting the planet, and we must start doing something to stop it. I choose this topic because I am worrying about how everything in the world is getting worst. Also, all the changes in the climate and the weather are happening because of the global warming. Everyone must start thinking about this issue and also to contribute by doing all the tips that I mentioned above about how we can stop the global warming.
In the end, the greatest way to help is by spreading awareness. Help spread the word by telling everyone you know about the greenhouse effect and global warming. By making them see what is at stake, and ask them to help save our planet. Encourage others to conserve and share information about recycling and energy conservation with your co-workers, friends, neighbors, and family. Recapping what can be done we all should get out there and plant some trees and plants so we can help the greenhouse gasses to decrease. Reduce the emissions from household products by turning them off. Most importantly remember to spread the word and the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
global temperature, caused by an increase in greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are the blanket of gases surrounding
Firstly, global warming is said to be caused by the high levels of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere by humans. Smoke produced by factories, vehicular exhaust, and the burning of fossil fuels such as coal in power plants are the primary sources of carbon dioxide. The theory is that carbon dioxide being released into the Earth's atmosphere is steadily building up because it cannot escape into space. The theory as to why the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere actually causes the Earth's average temperature to rise is outlined as follows:
The greenhouse effect is a natural process that keeps the earth at temperatures that are livable. Energy from the sun warms the earth when its heat rays are absorbed by greenhouse gasses and become trapped in the atmosphere. Some of the most common greenhouse gasses are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane. If there were no greenhouse gasses, very few rays would be absorbed and the earth would be extremely cold. When too many rays are absorbed the earth’s atmosphere heats up and it causes what we know as global warming. Al Gore (2006) described the greenhouse effect as the potentially most dangerous environmental problem facing mankind, with consequences second only to nuclear war (p.299). As the name suggests, global warming isn’t merely affecting parts of the world, it is threatening the world globally.
Also there are other life forms that humans like you and me do to slow down and decrease climate change. One way is we could unplug unused appliances to conserve energy. Lastly, using a transportation system like hybrid cars, public transportation, or bicycle riding to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The greenhouse effect is the effect that gases from the earth and our industries cause. The three natural gases from this greenhouse effect are carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). Three industrial gases are hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and sulphur hexafluoride (SFs). Water Vapor is also one of the greenhouse gases. Some of these gases we, humans, need to survive. Without these gases, heat would escape into space and make the Earth much...
The climate on the Earth is changing. Ice age is interleaved with the global warming. In the present age, the temperature of the Earth's climate system continues to rapidly increase and it leads to global warming. Global warming is the process of gradual growth of average annual temperature of the atmosphere of the Earth and World oceans. The average temperature on the Earth was increased by 0.6C. There are various reasons for global warming, such as human activities, natural events, increasing of gases, such as carbon dioxide in atmosphere and solar activity (Global warming).
To truly understand the global warming, and how it effects the earth, knowing what is the greenhouse effect, and what it does needs to be discussed first. The greenhouse effect is one of the main reasons that the earth is the perfect place to live on. Basically, the reason that animals live on earth is not just because the earth is in perfect distance from the earth, but “Our moderate temperatures are also the result of having just the right kind of atmosphere” (“The Greenhouse Effect”). As a matter of fact, the earth’s atmosphere is like a perfect blanket that keeps the temperature perfect on the surface of the earth (“The Greenhouse Effect”). This perfect blanket that keep the temperature cool on the earth are
Energy from the sun drives the earth’’s weather and climate, and heats the earth’’s surface; in turn, the earth radiates energy back into space. Atmospheric greenhouse gases (water vapor, carbon dioxide, and other gases) trap some of the outgoing energy, retaining heat somewhat like the glass panels of a greenhouse.
The subject of global warming is as popular as the president. These both topics have always been hot subjects in everyday life. Global warming is the biggest storm headed in our way. It is also the most important issue of our times. Those ads or public service announcement on TV about global warming might not be the most attractive but the cause behind it is very important. Global warming is one of the major threats our planet is facing. Most scientists prove the fact that global warming is mainly caused by human activities rather than natural cycles. To simplify it, most mechanisms that we use are affecting earth. These mechanisms are created by humans. Therefore, humans are affecting earth.
Global warming and the greenhouse effect are issues discussed by scientists all the time. A natural process that keeps earths temperature at a livable rate is called the greenhouse effect. The energy from the sun warms up the earth when the rays from the sun are absorbed by greenhouse gases. The gasses then become trapped in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane and nitrous oxide are the most common greenhouse gases.
In conclusion, many facts point to global warming being detrimental to our world. With scientific predictions, rising temperatures, human causes, drastic climate changes and animal adaptations being some of the more thought about topics it`s hard not to agree that our world can not continue to be used as it is. Even with some scientists arguing against the topic, our Earth`s orbit changing the temperatures before and have been through hotter and cooler time periods the pros still outweigh the cons. This is why we, as a global population, need to take into consideration the outcome of our planet should we continue to abuse it the way we do. Our earth and resources are not a right but a privilege and we should learn to treat them as such before we no longer have either.
Global warming is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently changing the Earth's climate. While it changes the Earth’s climate it takes away different species that we depend on and some which other species depend on and also effect (in a bad way) the environment in which we live and can cause permanent damages to humans, animals, plant which will change the whole chain of ecosystem.
Global warming is the gradual rise in temperature and oceans due to recent human activity. This is created by the production of too much carbon dioxide that is released into the earth’s atmosphere. The carbon dioxide, also known as a greenhouse gas, remains in the air trapping heat and gradually warming the planet. Other greenhouse gases such as: methane, nitrous oxide, and water vapor also contribute to this slow warming. According to Live Science, The state of these gases being trapped is called the greenhouse effect, which is one of the leading causes of global warming (Lallanillia). All the gases are created differently and have different effects on the earth. As for some greenhouse gases can be in the atmosphere for a short amount of time, other gases can remain in the atmosphere for thousands of
Global warming is one of the most serious issues that the human species face today, yet the majority of the population does not pay attention to it. People are not aware of the dangers and do not care about it much because the main effects will affect the next generation and not themselves. Global warming is happening and it is the reason for changing weather and weather extremes such as earthquakes, floods and wildfires. Global warming is caused by societies lifestyle and these lifestyles destroy the environment and affect the whole world. The use of cars, trains, planes, as well as wasting energy for people’s entertainment has a price; this price is that society is in danger.
