The documentary film Food Inc by Robert Kenner takes you behind the scenes of the food industry. It speaks about a wide range of foods from farmers to factories and from seed to supermarkets. Also about the ingredients in which the foods are made up of. The main point is that most of the foods that americans consume daily are not a nutritional source that the body needs to function. My feelings are if people knew where our foods come from and what it is made out of then it might change a person diet completely. Finances play a role too. It 's cheaper for most to buy a burger at McDonalds then it is to buy a head of brocoli. But what 's really in the burger and where its comes from is the question. …show more content…

How antibotics are placed into the feed to keep the animals from getting sick but it also passed along to us through the animals. It doesn 't matter if the animal contracted a sickness or not, they still hit the assembly line, and from there to the supermarkets. I also seen that the cows stand knee deep in the manure and it is hard to keep the manure out of the meat even after packaging. Ammonia is also used as a meat cleaner to kill bacteria. The bottom line is that I feel that these companies should allow americans to know what is in the foods we eat beyond just the food labels. To those unknowingly consuming these products is deceptive and inhuman. After my findings I will be watching what foods I consume and research more about the companies I commonly buy from. With the knowledge I have gained the risks of contining to eat such foods would be much higher then the time taken to find the facts. I will continue to share the information I have learned to insure all know what they are putting into ones
