Whenever you make the decision to own a firearm for self-defense, the most important thing to consider is your ability to use a firearm safely and efficiently.

There are many schools of thought when it comes to firearms safety but the general rule is to follow these five guidelines below: Treat every firearm as if it were loaded until you have ferified with your own eyes that it is not loaded. Always point the firearm in a safe direction. Do not point the firearm at anything you do want to destroy. Keep your finger off the trigger until you have decided you want to shoot.
