No Guns On School Campus Due to the recent disruption of violent crimes on campus, many citizens that are pro-gun activist have suggested that both the students and teachers should be allowed to carry concealed weapons on school campuses. Those who are with guns allowed on school campuses claim that their rights have been violated for the reason that many college campuses refuse to allow weapons of any kind on their property. The Constitution of The United States of America already grants citizens the right to carry guns with them. It is not appropriate for guns to be in a vulnerable area such as a college campus or any University. Like Mr. Cuellar said “ Being an US Customs I know any one with a gun in a shooting will help out to, there is more good people then bad and together we can take them down , that’s why I am with guns allowed in school campus , for the reason that I am also a father and care for the safety of my family members”. As he mentioned it can also be protection for oneself when you encounter a problematic situation. There are good reasons why we should allow them but there is more bad ones than good. Some people say that they’ll feel more protective if they have a gun with them , knowing someone you don’t know has one. They should also increase the 16 hour course to a month of training , and all this psychological test that they should make as a new rule to have guns on school. A full gun training and safety course lasting several weeks, may be what is needed to fully prepare the college student for many possible scenarios and the repercussions involved in owning and operating a firearm , because we never know when we will encounter a situation like that. Only after going through a comprehensive training course, and not an overview not like the ones of happening at this moment, would it then be remotely safe for guns to be permitted on a college campus, and then guns would only be limited to specific areas of a college campus for example to keep them off the area where the chemicals are. Also then only under strict supervision and also they must be checked if the owner has all their papers he needs and passed all the test given to them, and if something is not complete the gun should be taken away from them.
