Explain some cases in which you would perm-ban/temp-ban people Above I said about the hackers and spammers and advertisers here is where Ill explain the punishments I will do to them. Spamming chat Spamming chat is when you type a word over and over again which clearly means it's filling up the chat, it's in the rules because people may get annoyed for this for example when they are messaging someone and someone clearly starts spamming and they can't see the other persons message. Firstly, You will be warned if you constantly continue after the warn you will be tempmuted for 5 - 15 minutes, whilst that mute is going and he continues after it I will contact a manager+ to override the punishment. [Punishment] /ban [Player] Ads Mute evasion If you find a way to chat to other people when you are currently muted you will be banned for 15m by a manager+ If a lower staff member does this they will be demoted. [Punishment] /tempban [Player] 15m Mute evading Racism I do not need to explain this one. Firstly you will be warned and if you continue saying racist word this will be followed by a 15m mute continues it will be a 30m mute and then a manager+ can override the punishment. [Punishment] /warn [Player] Racism [Punishment] /tempmute [Player] 15m Racism [Punishment] /tempmute [Player] 30m Racism Server drama Another main purpose of the servers staff team. During the Civil Rights Movement, white and black protesters were given rare and extreme punishments for simply standing up for what they believed in. Even though whites and blacks protested together, not all of them got punished in the same way. Even though it wasn’t folderol committed by either race, racists saw it as this and would do anything to keep segregation intact. Sometimes, the whites are shunned, by society, and not physically hurt. While the blacks, on the other hand, were brutally killed, wounded, and scarred for life....
As the name suggests, instant messaging, or IM, is the real-time delivery of a message from one user to another. Communication between any computing stations can occur as long as the appropriate version of the program is installed. Users must also be concurrently running an IM client (program) as well as be on the same IM network [7]. A conversation that occurs between two or more users is known as a session (or channel). A session can either be public, where any and all users can participate, or private, where users must be invited to participate in the session. Buddy lists, also known as contact lists, allow users to maintain communication with specific users of the same IM client and network.
If we go into public places to talk loudly then people would respond a specific way as in look at us weirdly, ignore us, make rude comments, laugh at us, or pull out their phones and record what we’re doing. The sanction we believe that we will receive would be an informal sanction because while we break the norm we won’t be doing anything that is really serious and won’t offend anyone. the reactions we can receive from people could be negative or positive but it all depends on the specific group of people that we encounter.
...level with their own punishment. The ranges of cyber crimes are very large and can be prevented on some levels but to try and protect on all levels would be to pain staking.
The term racism means inequity or injustice based on race. It can also be the principle that talks about the differences in human personality or capacity and that a specific race is absolute to others. This can be as a result of language, traditions and customs, or any feature that the person possesses. The idea of racism has been in existence in the history of humans for a very long time. For the past years, racism of westerners towards those who are not from that region has had more impact than any other type of racism. The most well-known instance of racism that occurred in the West was enslaving Africans. One vital feature of racism, particularly concerning the
All you do is type your message and send it, even if the message is hurtful. With the rise of texting and messaging it has become easier to talk to people from around the world, instead of just in your neighborhood. More people in the recent generations choose to text or message someone instead of calling, unless it is for something important. Even some jobs and university have started to text and message instead of call for most cases. There are even chatting apps made just for gamers so that they can talk to their friends while they both play the same
Every day millions in some cases billions of dollars are made by businesses from income brought in by online sale of products and services. As businesses continually develop and expand their client base with online products and services so does the desire by criminals to exploit vulnerabilities in their e-commerce setup. The mass worldwide internet usage growth within the last 20 years has been “an approximate 16 million users in 1995 to an estimated 2,937 million in March of 2014” As the importance of e-commerce increases so does the need to protect the technological infrastructure that will carry out online transactions for each business regardless of its size. I will attempt to highlight and review the history of a few cyber crimes to show the progression of the crimes within the last 30-40 years. I also plan to review how the economy and consumers are impacted by cyber crimes. Finally I will make an effort to contribute with information gathering on how to lower the risk of a cyber attack from and individual user to a large scale business.
As can be seen, from the information presented, the need for laws and restrictions concerning internet data collection is greatly needed. Moreover, the government can search private citizens data without warrant or cause. Also, companies are not only collecting internet user data but also selling it. The companies and agencies who commit such crimes should be fined or either closed down. In closing, the privacy and security of individuals on the internet should be upheld by the United States government.

Black hat hackers majorly damage computer users and large organizations by exploiting sensitive data, shutdown of servers and modifying data in websites and network.
Communication is the simple “process of acting on information,” but communication is a lot more complex than that. Communication comes in varies categories and can be misunderstood if the message is not clear. Verbal and non-verbal communication is a great example where an issue can occur—if the source transmits a message that is not very well developed, then the receiver might interpret the message in a different context than originally intended. In my experience, verbal and non-verbal communication can be misinterpreted quite often. Texting is the most common abstract form of verbal communication—when someone responds with a single word like, “ok, or cool” to a very long text message, that
Cracking down on cybercriminals is an on going battle. The punishment for being convicted of a cyber crime like stealing people’s personal information is very severe. Looking at the case of Albert Gonzales is made of an example. Gonzales was a hacker and was sentenced to twenty years in prison for stealing around 130 million dollars in credit card fraud. The U.S District court shines a light on the hugely horrific trend of cyber attacks. According to The 2009 Annual Report by the Internet Crime Complaint Center and the Federal Bureau of Investigation claim that cybercrime complaints numbered 336,655 in 2009 (http://www.pctools.com/). This was a twenty two point three percent rise from 2008.
Millions of people around the world use computers and the internet every day. We all use it in school, work even at home, computers have made us life easier, it has brought so many benefits to the society but it has also brought some problems and cybercrimes is one of them. “The times have really changed,” said Greg Garcia, the department’s assistant secretary for cyber security and communications. “We’re seeing now phishing, farming, botnets … war dialing and domain server spoofing. And we’re seeing coordinated cyber-attacks against nation states.” (Fowler 5) Cybercrime is one of the most prevalent and most popular rising crimes being committed today. This is criminal activity done using computers and the Internet. There are millions victims around the world everyday who face these problems. Most people become victims of these at one time or another, but there are ways to avoid or deal with cybercrime by protecting yourself appropriately. I also was one of those victims who faced a similar problem. This unfortunate truth forces me to understand that computers and the Internet have made our lives easier in many ways. However, it is unfortunate that people also use these technologies to take advantage of others through identity theft, hacking attempts, and malicious use of software.
Cybercrimes is rapidly growing and increasing at a substantial rate. This is a crime that affects everyone no matter where a person lives. Anything that connects to the internet is susceptible to attack. In fact Verizon quoted, “No locale, no industry or organization is bulletproof when it comes to compromise of data”. IBM President and CEO Ginni Rometty described cybercrime as, “The greatest threat to every profession, every industry, and every company in the world”. Individuals are just as susceptible to attack. There is a hacker attack every 39 seconds, affecting 1 in 3 Americans. In this essay I will cover types of cybercrimes and the affect they have on businesses, government agencies, and the economy.
