Enjoyable Experience In School Essay

There are many aspects of school that can be quite satisfying and enjoyable; whereas, there are other elements that can be quite dissatisfying or disappointing. More often, I find that there are more satisfying and enjoyable experiences in school that make up for the bad ones. When I receive good grades, I feel satisfied because my hard work and effort has paid off. I also see good grades as the pathway to completing my business degree. I derive great satisfaction from good class discussions and people who respect my thoughts. It is very gratifying when a person can gain greater insight into a particular subject through engagement in class. I find satisfaction when I have good, hard working team members in school for projects. Projects tend to go a lot smoother when everybody puts forth …show more content…

The only resolution is to talk to the teacher about the specific concern. If they fail to resolve this problem, then the next step would be to speak with his or her superior and explain the issue to them. Eventually, someone is going to get through to that instructor and explain why favoring students is unacceptable. This method seems like it would be the best way to decrease dissatisfaction in a classroom where favoritism exists. When a teacher gives a bad grade in return for great effort it feels as though they did not acknowledge the time spent on the assignment. This can leave a person feeling very discouraged and dissatisfied with their own work. In order to decrease dissatisfaction, it would be useful for the instructor to explain via feedback what was done wrong on the assignment and how to correct it. A bad grade by itself does not teach a student anything to help them grow but instead it can discourage or upset them in many cases. There are instances where a bad grade may be a wake-up call to take education seriously, but in this situation constructive criticism should be given in return.
