In the article ‘Ecotourism : Ethical Operation or Cultural Exploitation’, the issue that is brought up by the author, Record is whether ecotourism give benefits in ethical operation or cultural encounters by increasingly affluent consumers is propelling communities, governments, and travel companies in accommodating to such demand. The author views ecotourism can benefits the local communities but is it should be sensitive to cultural norms build respect for local traditions, and empowers the local people economically while benefitting them socially. The overall article reflects bias language portrays the tone of the author of optimistic and encouraging. They visited historical plaus, cultural and ethnic heritage sites, environmental or ecological sites and national parks. This statistics show that nature based activities, culture-based activities, heritage and outdoor adventure travels represent a significant segment of the outbound tourism market as well. The author also mentions a non-expert opinion to support which is a New Zealand scholar, Regina Scheyrens who believes ecotourism teaches travelers to be environmentally responsible while providing enlightening travel and visitation to relatively undisturbed natural areas in order to enjoy and appreciate nature that promotes conservation. The supporting details is relevant because Scheyrens clearly stated ecotourism raise awareness to the environment and improving the well-being of local people. Moreover, the author has also made an expert testimony to support her views. The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) views ecotourism as ‘responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people’. The author also highlights that the promise of economic stability prompts many local communities to pursue ecotourism as a means of self-reliance but more often than not outside companies or governments

When humans move too quickly or make loud noises, the apes are stressed out and can flee. Not only that, but increased stress levels lowers their immune systems making them more susceptible to disease.
