To being, I love horror movies. Whether if it’s, slasher, gore, supernatural, possessed, I adore every genre of horror. Rarely do I get horrifically terrified by horror films or be disgusted at my stomach about the amount of guts and gore (blood) because of how much I have seen in the genre of horror widespread. However, it is undeniably arduous to become fans of horror flicks nowadays because of the repetitive cliches and the misunderstanding and misleading factor of horror to authentically give the chills and scares. With regards to, the many failure examples of found-footage and the most momentous jump-scares that are being used often spurious and inaccurate. Instead of requiring the audiences in anticipating the horror cliches, this film rather talks and discusses all of them. This is the major comprehension of why I LOVE Scream. A character speaks “I’ll be right back”, and another character replies having reference to the horror movie cliches, “Don’t say that. Whenever anybody says that they are ‘never’ back…” The characters keep referencing the horror cliches over and over again as the film is a slasher itself. As a result, it makes it an elevating entertaining viewing because of knowing that the characters understand the horror cliches of the acts they should do and shouldn’t do.
