Anne Frank was an ordinary girl who lived in Holland during the Nazi occupation. Her family went into hiding for two years in her father’s factory. Several non-Jewish friends helped the Franks and the Van Daans survive under difficult conditions. Anne was not able to explore the beauty and nature of the world since she was behind the safe walls of the Secret Annex. For two years, she wrote in her diary about her feelings and her relationship with her family and her first love Peter. Despite living during a challenging period of time for Jews, Anne has many similarities of teenagers, like myself, who live in the world today. Talent Both Anne Frank and I have a special talent for always staying positive during difficult times. Anne Frank was a positive person, even though she was in hiding for being a Jew. When she first arrived at the Secret Annex, she told all her family that living in the Annex was an adventure. I can be compared to Anne since I have a special talent also of being positive. This positive feeling allows me to help young children succeed in an occupational therapy gym. I give them confidence to get over their fears of therapy and make them feel like a winner. Anne's fear is being captured by the sinister Nazis. The part when Anne was most afraid was when Peter knocked over the chair, and the thief ran down the stairs. After that, the Franks and the Van Daans thought that the thief was going to tell the Nazis that they heard someone in the attic. My biggest fear can be contrasted to Anne’s, since my fear is my mother getting remarried. I am afraid that when my mom gets married, my life will change forever, since I will have new step siblings who I know can be very annoying. I can be compared to Anne, since we both fear losing our families. Even though we can get annoyed at our family members, we still love them and don't want to lose
