I believe a community medicine mind set, along with a practice that is focused on the specific needs of a community, is the only way to see the whole person, the whole patient. I believe by looking at the needs of the patient and the needs specific to the community in which they reside, you can approach a patient’s healthcare in a way that will allow them to live a more productive and healthy life.
As an aspiring physician, I long for the opportunity to help my patients live a healthy and productive lifestyle.
