When watching television, an individual is looking to enjoy the show or movie of their choice. Although watching television is considered a form of relaxation, television is also a form of propaganda. Marketers for companies are well aware of the audience television has and make it a target to take advantage of such an audience. Companies make great efforts towards how they market their product through commercials. Commercial advertisements are often alike in the way which they sell their products, most involve a catchy background song, a funny short story, or a famous person. Celebrity endorsements seem to be a favorite method of selling upon several popular labels. The list of popular labels and companies utilizing the method of using big name celebrities selling our their product is never ending and continues to grow.
