1. If I had to ask my boss an urgent question with regards to a potential contract with a vendor, I would make a phone call. The scenario states that I “need an answer now”. This would require me to initiate a push channel, where I am sending a message to the receiver with the use of a telephone. This is the quickest way to receive the answer I need. If my boss does not pick up the phone, I would leave a voicemail stating what I am calling about and the urgency of my boss’s call back. 2. If my boss needed to sign a vendor contract now and there is a major distance between us, I would fax the document for my boss’s signature. I would contact my boss by phone call, and explain the urgency of this contract getting signed. I would verify that this method would be sufficient for these circumstances. If there was a need for my boss’ signature to be real ink on the document, I would proceed with the fax as a temporary document of the agreement. When promoting an event as a public relations employee, like a 5k supporting those with osteoporosis, it is of utmost importance to publicize this through the media in order to have a great outcome. There needs to be a degree of persuasion when advertising this event. When people receive information regarding this 5k, it is important to incorporate statistics, images of the bones of someone with osteoporosis, and stress how this money can make a difference in a patient’s life. When the audience has viewed the flyer, this will make them feel more inclined to help, as I have learned in social psychology. In addition to flyers, I would be sure to advertise this event through social media, so it reaches another population of people as well. The advertisements of this event are important to be widespread, yet not too formal because flyers should exhibit the key information, not paragraphs of unnecessary
