What makes computer hardware engineering such a great job? Well it has been said that "Engineering is the art of organizing and directing men and controlling the forces and materials and nature of the benefit of the human race." ("Quotations by Subject"). Engineering requires you to be good at math because you use geometry and algebra when you build things in engineering. It also requires you to do measurements because you need to measure how long the product is going to be and how much it weighs. Computer hardware engineering is not only a great job, but an important one because it gives you a chance to build things people might want to use and to build computer games people might want to play.

Computer hardware engineers spend their workday by researching and designing computer equipment. One skill this job requires when doing this is that they test computer equipment to make the product work. This shows that they go over what works and what doesn't work to fix the parts that doesn't work and test it again to see if it will work before selling it. Another skill computer hardware engineers do is that they invent things people might want to use. This shows that they can change the world and analyze what they did wrong on a product they sold to remove some parts and replace them with new ones so that the redesign will be better than the other one. They also add some new features to the redesign that weren't in the other design before. Computer hardware engineers also need to be able to update computer equipment. When they update computer equipment, they use the world's fastest central processing unit (CPU) for PC's. ... what it takes to become a computer hardware engineer, I will get good grades in high school and study hard to get a good score on the SAT so that I can get into a good college to get into a good company to work in when I graduate. People who want to change the world in technology can get into a good company and do computer hardware engineering in that company. Even though computer hardware engineers get paid a lot of money, they still have to work hard in their job and do what their boss says. Someday, I hope to become a computer hardware engineer so that I can invent things that involve technology that weren't thought of before and I hope to make programs people might want to use.
