Through the past three years I’ve spent at high school, I have developed and have grown intellectually. I have grown as a problem solver and decision maker in terms of using my skills in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and science. Mathematics and science in particular have helped me analyze situations and manipulate the variables in order to see things in different perspectives. I have learnt that in order to come to a solution or decision you have to take into consideration many different factors as we would in mathematics and science. In career transitions in particular I was given many opportunities to research potential career paths, and schools. I was also given the opportunity to ask questions not only from my teachers and counselors, but also actual staff representing Universities. I appreciate the support provided to me, because it has helped alleviate a lot of the stress that comes along with graduating and choosing a career. I am now more confident when thinking about my future and what I want to study in post-secondary. I have gained experience in planning for, and working towards, career and life goals most specifically through completing this transitions package and the Career Transitions course. I had never given much thought to my future, as I always thought it was always so far away, however June keeps drawing closer and closer. The course and this package forced me to seriously put in the time and effort to think about my future, and where I want to be in the future. I have learnt what my priorities are and what I want from my life, in terms of personal, social, intellectual, and career
