Bernie Sanders was known to have a good legislative record by thinking critically and being a hard worker, according to Robinson. However, many individuals believe that Sanders proposals might be excessive to go forward with. His statements about foreign policy is America having a strong military, yet he opposed the Iraq War and voted for every bill came before Congress to support and finance occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq. Robinson states that Mr. Sanders is passionate discussing issues about the United States rather than foreign policy. Candidate Sanders supports the Black Lives Matter movement. Colin Robinsons expresses that Sanders is a democrat and has democratic views, and will vote for democrats more so than another party (Robinson 40). I believe the way Colin Robinson wrote the article was extremely informational and organized. Bernie Sanders message is wanting to make things the way they should be; affordability for all and equality for every individual. Sanders believes the country should be together and not divided into two parts. He is a leader who fights for what he believes is truly right. His policies and what he campaigns are different from all the other candidates who are running against each other. Mr. Sanders grew up with a working-class, humble family. Unlike republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, Sanders worked his way to the top, but as well fought for individuals who were being discriminated against.
