I Matthew Nelson Mc Corkle want to become a welder. Why because I have always been around tools for welding and people who do weld. Also, I got a small briefing when I was younger. I thought it was really cool and fun so that is when I wanted to become a welder. I believe that a college education is important in order to become a successful welder.
To become a welder there are certain job tasks, special skills, duties, and education.
Some education classes you have to take are algebra, geometry, arithmetics, calculus, statistics and last but not least are mechanical engineering. You will also need to graduate high school or get your GED and then start a job outlook. Some skills you have to have are time management, critical thinking, and active listening. Some abilities are near vision, arm to hand coordination, being steady, and finger dexterity.
My plan through high school until I got my job is to take classes in high school and volunteer so I can understand more when I go to college. I also need to graduate high school. Finally, I need to find a job so they can pay me so I can pay for good classes and learn how to do welding decently. When I am still in high school I will look for a college to go to like NTC. The potential income of a welder is on average I will get a salary of $36,980 per year and for every hour I will get $16.76. Other related jobs include sheet welding, cutting, and normal welding. Why am I am choosing to become a welder well it is because of my friends and family. Also, I like using fire to make things because it comes out cool or it comes out not so cool but you learn from your mistakes.
