For my research project I have decided to research what is involved in becoming a personal trainer, (PT) - I would like to become a PT and travel around Australia. The refined question that has been chosen is; how can I achieve success as a personal trainer (PT) that travels Australia? This is something I would love to do after I complete school. I am currently doing my Certificate III in Fitness and almost ready to take the next step in to becoming a Personal Trainer. Not a lot of people have enough confidence in themselves or their bodies so they try so hard to become fit and eat healthy. This is something she urged me to consider for my own development and self- improvement. It is therefore my intention to begin a fitness and healthy eating regime whilst I am undertaking my Certificate III in Fitness– I need to make a commitment to starting this soon. I received the following advice about becoming a PT when I asked about ‘what do you suggest for me to do to become a PT and be successful?’ - Start training yourself, learn how the body moves and test your mind. - Give your client your best service and believe in them and this is where your own training and experience will come into it. - Give them the tools and guidance to help them get the results they want within a realistic boundary and time frame. - Learn how to run your own business by knowing how to market yourself, time management, keeping your clients and bookwork accurately.
