As senior year comes to an end you turn in your college applications and some try to get a scholarship but, some decide to not go to college. Going to college is important because you will have more options of jobs. You might have a job that pays a lot but when you get really sick or get injured they won’t pay you for those days that you were recovering. If you do get sick and you went to college and you do have a job with medical insurance they will pay you for those days that you were recovering. College is important because those who go to college will earn more money In many articles state many of reasons why college is important. For example, in the article, ¨College Is Worth the Cost,¨ in paragraph 3 from the article states, ¨College also prepares you for a well-rounded and healthful life (e.g., college grads smoke less, exercise more, and are twice as likely to engage in volunteer work.¨ This means the college graduates tend to take care of themselves more. It also says that college graduates most likely engage in volunteer work. Another example, is that in the article, ¨College Is Worth the Cost,¨ in paragraph 2 says , ¨College grads earn $2.1 million in lifetime income compared with $1.2 million for high school grads.¨ This is technically telling you that college grads earn …show more content…

In fact, many articles have discussed that many people have succeeded even though they didn't go to college. I can see how some might be swayed by this point of view, but I disagree because if you go to college it will help you succeed more. In fact, according to “College Is Worth the Cost,¨ in paragraph 2 it says, “Even if they go with the more expensive educational option, college grads net on average an extra $800,000 in lifetime earnings.” This is basically telling you that college grads earn extra in lifetime earnings. It also means that high school grads don't earn as much as college
