As a first-year Graduate student in Health Services Administration, I am eager to improve the health status of our community, especially the poor and under-served. While volunteering at The Jewish Hospital for three months, I recognized Mercy Health was similarly committed to bettering the community. Also, I have been working for over a year as a Data Management Associate at KAO Brands analyzing manufacturing data on skincare products (approximately 1,000,000 LB per week). At the end of each month, I summarize my findings using pivot tables and graphs in a report due a week after, of which I submit within 2- 3 days despite being a full-time double-major graduate student. Though my experience is not healthcare related, it can be beneficial in a healthcare environment. For example, my data analysis experience allowed me to excel when tasked with a class assignment to analyze pertussis outbreak in a local school of 644 students for a Cincinnati Health Department group project.
