Analysis Essay About My Writing

Writing: An Incredibly difficult skill Writing is the process of using words to communicate thoughts and ideas into a readable form. As long as I can remember the desire to write has not been one of my personal interest even though one can say that writing is one of the easiest skills ever because writing can come from life experiences, it can be a thought or as simple as wanting to be heard. For me, writing is a difficult skill that I have always struggled with, although it has never stopped me from expressing my thoughts and opinions. Writing is one of the most difficult skills that I have experienced, especially academic writing. I also, find it very difficult to clarify my writing and have it be more compelling towards my audience.

The idea of comprehending literature is to know what is being read. Usually, teachers always asked me to write a literary analysis essay. Which was one of my least favorite things to do. Most of the time I had a hard time comprehending what I had just read, making it harder for me to write about. As a result, I also find it hard to clarify what I want to say. I always tend to go around an idea instead of being clear. For example, Kurt Vonnegut mentioned how his teachers wished him to write accurately and always select the most effective words. Meaning write what has to be said, In my previous writing classes my teachers gave me the same feedback and so far, I have tried to imply the feedback into my writing. I believe that I am getting better at writing what I want my audience to know. Moreover, As a writer, I need to know who my audience is which I find quite challenging to captivate my readers attention because it is hard work. Joseph Conrad the Author of Heart of Darkness described his writing career as “hard labor for life”
