Al Gore is a very well know man across the world in many developed countries. His work on climate change and his political career is what got him to where he is now. He was born in Washington, D.C. on March, 31 1948. He attended Harvard University, where he got his degree in government with high honors. He was also in Vanderbilt Law School many years later, after his time being a military journalist. He dropped out of this school to become a politician serving in the house for four terms and many years in the senate. This all leads up to him running for president in 1988 and losing the primary. It all started with his time in the House of Representatives. He served in the house for eight years. He was actually the first person to appear on C-Span when the network launched. His time in the Senate also lasted from 1984 to 1992, during this time he was a big supporter of the High Performance Computer and Communication Act of 1991. After his time in the the Senate, he tried to run for president but failed at first. In 1992 things changed though, when Bill Clinton wanted him to become his running mate. They were elected for two terms until the year of 2000. During his time as Vice President, he tried to decrease the amount of bureaucracy in the government system. After these two terms of being Vice President, he tried to run in the election of 2000. It was Al Gore VS George Bush, it was one of the most controversial elections in recent history. He has appeared in many places to give people good information to help them understand environmental issues. He has talked everywhere from college graduations to important political meetings. Endorsing candidates is a thing he is not against, which is a thing he did during Obama's second term. Many people are unaware of the trouble that not being eco-friendly can cause to the environment that we live in. When he goes around and conveniences people that the environment needs to be helped. Going back to his movie studies show that the actual statistics that it affected people to be more environmentally friendly. I am referring to little things like how it effected generally conservative areas more than liberal areas. This intrigued economist because they people rarely spend their own money showing the outstanding things one movie could do. It showed that people when shown a cause will work independently or with each other to achieve their goal be it long or short
