Government is the entity that controls the actions of state, community or citizens. Government is the one that administers public resources and plays the role of absolute authority of a state or country. As any other government, the government the United Stated of America has developed Social Programs in order to face some community problems. These Social Programs are designed to alleviate and improve living conditions of the community, in other words, improving the lifestyle of the community. Some examples of Social Programs that the government of the United States has created are Social Security Disability, Medicaid, Veterans’ benefits, Food Stamps, Federal Students loans, Head Start Program, Unemployment Insurance and Government Subsidized …show more content…

This social program let students and parents borrow money for school/education purposes. One the main characteristics of Federal Students loans is that the interest’s rates are really low. In order to receive this benefit, students need to apply and fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This application gets information in some categories such as info about the student, student’s dependency status, info about student’s parents, student’s finances.
