Advertisements are everywhere we go now days. Some of these advertisements have hidden messages that might not be easily detectable at first glance. Axe is a prime example of this form of advertising. There is much more to their advertisements than just making someone smell wonderful. There are multiple underlying messages in Axe advertisements which people just don’t quite get until they actually take time to look at the advertisement. People buy things because of the underlying messages that they receive from the advertisement of a certain product. It also shows how much more people care about the hygiene and appearance. These advertisements reveal how people can be easily fooled and how some Know someone is trying to fool them but choose to be fooled anyway. Axe advertisements even through all their generalizations are very effective and productive. The company has never been in danger of bankruptcy due in part because of their advertisements. We all know that Axe will not make anyone a ladies’ man but because of the clever humorous advertisements we choose to buy it anyway. Axe gives us these great advertisements and in turn we give them are money for their product. Through the analysis it is reveal that Axe advertisements contain cultural norms and societal stereotypes strategically placed in their ads. The intended message is easily identified but there are a lot of underlying hidden messages that are not easily spotted. These messages are the reasons these products get sold all across the world. These advertisements portray women as sex crazed monsters for a good smelling man and men as beings who just cannot resist the attention of women. Analyzation of these advertisements help people to become more aware of the companies they are buying
