These days bulling can be placed on any amount of strain on any child who is receiving it. It also has a long reaching effect on both family and friends as well. Bullying can damage confidence, social skills, and self-esteem and can affect a child overall health if the situation continues. If a child is being bullied play an active role in guiding the child through the difficult time. Watch for signs of bullying for example if the child starts to commutate less. This is a common trait and sometimes it can make an out-going child become more introverted and insular.
More than 16,000 students skip school in the year just so that they can avoid being harassed. These days’ texting and social media does not help make things any easier than ever for students.
