All life has meaning right? Do we all have a choice or say in what happens to us? Are we really the rulers of our own domain? “I don 't know what happens to our consciousness when we 're unwound," says Connor. "I don 't even know when that consciousness starts. But I do know this." He pauses to make sure all of them are listening. "We have a right to our lives!"
The kids go wild.
"We have a right to choose what happens to our bodies!"

We are born, we go about our lives, then the inevitable happens and we die, but what about those who are assigned their inevitable demise? Do we have a say in the matter of other human lives? We as a human race have been killing each other since the dawn of time, although the way we go about doing so has changed dramatically in a since. A criminal commits a heinous act and must be punished for it as you so often hear on the news. Do we as race have the right to destin his/her fate? Then you have a young couple or single mother who is bearing a child, yet the circumstances are not optimal. Humans have killed each other since the dawn of time. The reasons however have changed drastically and so have the means.
