We are the makers of magic. We are the teller of tales.”
Willy Wonka

It can only be described as the feeling you get when you know you are dreaming. A dream you just can’t awaken from.
I cannot bear the silence anymore. The time of the prophecies are nearly upon us and the need is great to share what I have. This world is about to die out and unless more of you can awaken, I feel the multiverse will suffer for it.
“What are you talking about?” is what you are thinking. I know, for I am the keeper of the secret knowledge. Knowledge the ALL has past to me. I am its guardian. I have passed this knowledge down through my bloodline, however as of lately, over the last 1000 years, it has become too diluted and there are only few who are left with the gift. I have guided many to maintain the blood but too many were lost through your human endeavors. Through your wars, genocides, and through the gods of your world in their eternal petty conflicts.
I have been called once again to serve the ALL and teach you to awaken yourselves. I have been lifted of some of the rules set down in my creation in the attempt to guide the flock further, faster.
I must apologize, I should actually start our new relationship with an introduction. Well, at least of myself until our paths meet. I am known as Tanis. It has been convoluted throughout your history and striped as a title to represent a name but this is not the case. I am a carriers of the dragon breath and its speech. I am a walker between worlds. I am the continual student and teacher. I am cake of light eater and the wine drinker, I am Draco world weaver and the awakened sleeper. I am from the stars, I am the stars. I am a celestial child, a child of chaos. I have held many names and will obtain many more, as will you should you accept your path.
I will tell you my story, were in you might find your answers to your questions. But be warned, the journey to the knowledge I share, is long and will test you resolve. I will tell you my tale, as seen through my eyes at that time and discuss with you what I have learned from these experiences, when appropriate.

Essay Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as Judeo-Christian Allegory

- Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory as Judeo-Christian Allegory In the classic children's film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which is based on the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the author and writer of the screenplay, Roald Dahl presents the viewer with a strikingly vivid metaphor that compares fundamental Judeo-Christian beliefs with, that's right, candy. The basic figures in the religion are given representational roles in the film that do not hide, but instead sugar coat their meaning....   [tags: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory]

Essay about Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory

- Movies are one thing that constantly change but to stay the same. A lot of movies have have been modernized for a new era, some more than once. A major movie remake of my generation would be Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and its remake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. From the 1971 happy, upbeat, singing Willy Wonka, portrayed by Gene Wilder, to the 2005 crazy, gloomy, mystifying Willy Wonka, played by Johnny Depp a lot has changed. Tim Burton and Mel Stuart made Roald Dahl 's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory into a visual representation of how they saw it....   [tags: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory]

Comparison of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Book versus Movie Essay

- Comparison of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Book Vs. Movie For this paper, I chose the Roald Dahl modern fantasy book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Dahl’s books are mostly fantasy and full of imagination. They are always a little cruel, but never without humor - a thrilling mixture of the grotesque and comic. A frequent motif is that people are not what they appear to be. Dahl's works for children are usually told from the point of view of a child, and they typically involve adult villains, usually women who hate and mistreat children, and feature at least one "good" adult to counteract the villain(s)....   [tags: Roald Dahl Tim Burton Film Willy Wonka]

If you my friends have questions that arise as I share this knowledge with you, please ask and we will get to them in time. The information I have must be built upon through experiences. No book or lecture will be able to teach you.
I first need to let you know that until you are ready to understand and listen you will not be able to hear what I have to say. For until you open the ears of understanding the lips of knowledge will remain closed. Until we understand the Dragon, we cannot hear the words it speaks.
You my friends, are and have been living a lie. Strong words, I know, but sometimes one must use thought-provoking statements to capture the attention. This has been a lie passed down to you, over generations, to enslave the masses and shackle those weak in mind. You have received it through your culture, upbringing and through no-fault of their own, your parents. And I say this due to themselves having being brought up in the same way. I tend to forgive the previous generations due to the increasingly constrictive society in which they and their’s were born and raised in. If you think about it, we are afforded an infinite abundance of latitude in our progressive way of thinking and individualistic expressions then our forefathers. Nowadays, one does not get tortured or burned at the stake for expressing a viewpoint in which, before, might have had the possibility of being accused of heresy. I also applaud those, who have come before to share their own thoughts and ideas knowing what could or did happen to them, although I might not agree with them entirely.
Now for the lie. “What do you mean?" You ask. Well, unfortunately, this cannot be explained simply by a statement. You my friends, will have to take your own journey in discovering the secrets which are hidden from you. It is my attempt to push you toward your own personal path of thought and experiences,to find the secret truth for yourself. No matter which path you choose nor how many times you might change it, I am solely here to be a guide and to push you when needed.
I’m not going to dazzle you with impressive word smithing in an attempt to entertain you. I will not boost to you with a vast vocabulary that you might need a dictionary to interpret nor will I talk around issues or points I need to get across by confusing sentence structuring. I will attempt to pass my knowledge to you as strait-forward and uncluttered as possible.
I would like to start our journey buy asking you questions. I know this might be a little irregular from the start of other books you may have read and as you will come to see, this is like no other book. Most books conform to a couple of different categories such as, entertainment: A story designed to lead you through different situations which starts you at the beginning, leaving you at the end. I know, I know, what about the other ones which try and trick, starting you at the end or middle? They still have a beginning and predetermined end. They tell a story that you might be moved, touched or horrified by etc… They are the ones that utilize your emotions.
Then there are self-help books and educational ones which try and persuade you into thinking by using reason. They might claim the purpose is to get you to think but all they really are doing is showing you how to think like they do and don’t forget the religious ones. They are a combination of the two previous categories. A powerful tool playing with your emotions to make you think the way they want you to. I however, want you to think for yourself. I want you to believe what you want to believe and if you are entertained through the process, that's okay too. You will take from this book exactly what you need to at the time you need it. I offer no more but I am sure you will reread it or at least portions of it, over and over. And if you are a seeker of the truth, you will find that it is hidden in plain sight.
Now I ask of you one favor before we begin. Start a journal. Ensure every time you write in it to date it. You will find this will become your most valuable possession. “Time is the thief of memories.” Now for the questions. Why do you believe the things you do? I am sure you have a multitude of influences that have led you to your beliefs but how many of you have stopped to question those beliefs? Let's break this down a bit further, I know you have many. The next few questions are not to constrict you, you can ask these question on anything but for the purpose of getting this out to you, I will focus on merely a few things that I find important. What is life? How do you know you are alive? What is its purpose? How do you know? "I think, therefore I am?" Is life just a series of events you will experience through your senses, which in turn, are interpreted by your mind? And if you are truly living, what would its’ purpose be?
Now I know most of you are religious and religion attempts to explain these questions but why do you believe in your religion? Is it merely what you grew up with? Have you ever stop to question your faith? How do you know that the books you read and the teachers of your faith are telling you the complete truth? Let's take for example “The Holy Bible." How many times has it been translated? What are your thoughts on when Constantine decided what should or should not be in it when he formed the first general Christian council (the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D.)? Are you willing to put such trust, in a man, who most of his life was a pagan?
I hope I haven't scared you away but for those that I did, you're not ready. For the rest of you, I'm trying to open your eyes. You can believe whatever you want, I just don't want you to do so blindly. My intent is to free you of your shackles so you may know and believe things for yourself. We will pause for a bit here. I ask one last thing of you before we continue. Think about these questions. Don't be in such of the rush to dismiss them. Do whatever you need to, pray, study, contemplate what truly was asked and write down the thoughts and feelings you might have in your journal. Ask your own questions, come to your own truths.
