In Beavan’s writing I believe I see: simple, compound, complex, and compound complex sentences. I think Beavan uses a good mixture of these types to help develop his points and keep the reader interested. I feel that if all his points were made in simple sentences, people would get bored easily. Also if Beavan choose to only use compound complex sentences the paper may seem too much for many readers.
