In some cultures women have to live under male control. Women have to stay home with kids and do house choir. Based on true story what I read on Girl Power “ Malala, a smart young girl, started noticing that women in her country were being suppressed because of their gender”. The Taliban had control in Swat Valley at that time and didn’t allow girls to go outside or go to school. Malala speak up and she got shot in her head on her way back to home from school. She got shot on October 9, 2012 and went to England to get surgery. After she recovered, she saw how many girls from all over the world are supporting her. She was happy and started giving speeches. She won the Nobel Peace Prize on October 10, 2014. I believe that since we all have head between two shoulders we should treat each other equally; there is no difference between girl and boy we all are the same. According to “Do You Believe in Equal Rights for Women and Men?: on New York Time”. The majority of people agreed on women should have the same right as man because women work the same job as man and the same hours but they get less pay. This is not fair because since women doing the work they should have the same pay. I read some other articles when I was in High School how women work in the farm when all the males went to war. I am someone who always stand up for the right, it just because I am girl and I will support in women. It depend on what women did for all the people not only herself. I love one of her quote “ I want to remind you that cemeteries are calm, too. Silence is not worth anything. Silence does not mean peace”. What her quote mean to me is that if we all just suffer in silence there will be no peace. Stand up and fight for the right, there will be someone who always going to be with you and your not alone.
