Many educators and experts believe that uniforms put positive impacts on students. They believe that with uniforms, students feel and behave more professional. They think that without uniforms students become distracted by fashion trends and easily attracted towards status symbol clothing. Apparently, when all students are dressed in uniforms, there is more focus on learning in school and less focus on fashion. Therefore, school Uniforms should be compulsory for all students at primary and secondary level for many reasons, which justify this including improvement in school safety and discipline, reduce discrimination and bully, and to give the students a sense of identity.

Summary From the arguments above, it was apparent that school uniforms significantly improve students’ behaviors that make me believe that school uniforms should be made mandatory for all public schools. Most importantly, the adoption of school uniform policies will lead to increased school safety, discipline, and students’ learning by giving them the sense of their identity .Consequently, there will be less discrimination and hatred cause by bully among students. In conclusion, mandatory school uniforms must be implemented in all public schools for the betterment of all students.

School boards should be careful not to restrict religious, political, and other expressions. School board should make sure that uniforms easily available and inexpensive. There should be flexibility and assistance for low-income and poor families who cannot afford to buy uniforms. School Board should implement a pilot program and align uniform policy with the school safety framework. Take necessary steps to ensure that students and parents understand what is expected in the schools. School rules should be stated clearly and thoroughly discussed with students and parents prior to their implementation. Involve representatives by parents, civic leaders, citizens and, when appropriate, students during the policy development process.
