Reflection of God Throughout this semester, I have learned what the glory of God can do for the nations of the world through the book God’s Heart for the Nations. There are many countries in the world where the people are far less fortunate than many of us are in the United States or a few other countries. So I pray for these nations and ask God to help these people in their time of need. Many of these practices include praying before I go to bed, researching their culture, or sending my condolences and support to people around the world. One of the many practices that I participate in for these unfortunate nations is to make sure to pray for those who are far less fortunate than many of us in our country. As time went by and I learned more about various countries, their problems and needs, my prayers became more specific as I felt like I connected with the people of particular countries. For example, I asked God to help the continent of Africa, especially the eastern area of Kenya. Their economy has been suffering for many years, and it is considered one of the biggest third world countries. Disease and famine run rampant in Africa, and so many people are without homes. In this case, I ask God for His guidance to help the people and the leaders of Africa. I ask Him to love the people of Africa because they need it. Perhaps his love can give them some hope. I also ask him to love the leaders of the countries like the United States and other wealthy nations and to lead them to support and help the people of Africa. In addition, America and the Caribbean also need God’s glory, guidance and love. We need the word of the lord to spread more as other religions are taking over or people are not as devoted to Christianity as they were previously. I ask Him to give people love to help
